We hate to miss out on the fun, so we’re also doing our own live stream to raise money, with a GameBlast21 Quiz takeover! Tune in via our Facebook or Youtube, live 8 – 9 pm GMT on Feb 23rd. You can find our JustGiving page here.
What is GameBlast21?
GameBlast is the UK’s biggest annual charity gaming marathon weekend in aid of the gamer’s charity SpecialEffect. You can get involved by organising your own sponsored live stream during GameBlast weekend, Friday 26th to Sunday 28th February 2021.

Find out more and sign up to host your own stream here: https://www.gameblast.org.uk
What is SpecialEffect?
SpecialEffect is a UK based charity which uses video games and technology to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities.
How do I sign up or help?
You can sign up to do your own stream via the GameBlast21 website. They’ve got a whole host of resources to help you get started.

If you don’t fancy hosting your own stream, don’t worry — there’s plenty of other ways to help out. You can help spread the word by sharing all things GameBlast21 on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. There are lots of streams to watch and support over the GameBlast weekend, even dropping in to leave some words of encouragement is wonderful. Just search for the GameBlast21 tag on Twitch.
What games are available?
You can pick up to four of the following games for us to send to you. You can play them during your stream or give them away as prizes. As long as they help raise money for SpecialEffect, we’re happy!

-You can play Herd Mentality, The Chameleon and OK Play for free on Tabletopia.
-We have a bunch of free printable online games as well as some quiz slides you can download and use to host your own quiz.
-We’ve written up some handy video call rules for Herd Mentality, Colourbrain and What Came First.
-We’ve written a whole blog post giving advice on how to stream board games on a budget.
-We also have a whole post all about ways to play board games online.
If you have any other questions please feel free to tweet us and we’ll gladly help you out.
